House Republican Leader-elect Matt Hall, of Comstock Township, today issued the following statement:

“The governor not knowing who was in the negotiations is part of the problem. We had a deal, but she backed out — jeopardizing hundreds of new jobs in the Upper Peninsula and blocking tax savings for Michigan’s local job providers. Gov. Whitmer and incoming Democratic leaders are going to have to learn how to govern better than this and work together with Republicans so that we can help the people of Michigan.”
